There’s no better time to practice your swing in a Pixar-perfect setting. Pixar Putt is taking over the Pier Street Underpass and will be heaps of fun for all. Choose between 9 or 18 holes, and enjoy the decorations inspired by classic films like Finding Nemo, Ratatouille and The Incredibles. There are even sessions for adults only, on Thursday to Saturday nights.

CUPID'S KOI GARDEN

The world’s first inflatable fountain has found a home in Tumbalong Park over the Summer. Cupid’s Koi Garden was created by Melbourne-based art and technology studio ENESS and captivates passerbys through submerged sounds and spritzes of the six-metre-tall water-play installations of Cupid and his ten friendly koi fish.

The free, family-friendly and multi-sensory playground of gushing bubblers and a trickling soundtrack is perfect for entertaining the kids.

Cupid’s Koi Garden is free to attend from 5 – 29 January.

DRAGON BOAT RACES

Ring in the Year of the Rabbit by witnessing three spectacular days of dragon boat races at Cockle Bay during Lunar New Year. Over 3,000 paddlers will grace the waters in 12m long dragon boats as they compete in this energetic water sport.

The opening ceremony is especially not to be missed as it pays tribute to the Australian and Chinese cultures coming together to promote a cultural celebration of diversity and inclusion.

Opening Ceremony on Friday 27 January, Club Race Day on Saturday 28 January and Corporate and Social Race Day on Sunday 29 January.
