Each weekend the sky above Cockle Bay Wharf will come to life with an incredible pyrotechnics display, the Darling Harbour Fireworks. Celebrate Saturday night at Cockle Bay Wharf and you’ll enjoy bright lights and beautiful colours that will light up your night.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: With the continued impact of the bushfires across the states in Australia and out of respect for those involved, the Darling Harbour fireworks display are cancelled. Please follow our website and social media for future updates.
Where to watch
When: 9:00pm every Saturday night, 12 October - 28 December 2019
Where: Cockle Bay Wharf Promenade
The ultimate way to watch the fireworks is from one of Cockle Bay Wharf's amazing restaurants, cafes and bars. Not sure where to start? We’ll help you choose a restaurant or experience to make sure you have the best seat in the house.
Want to enjoy the fireworks as you linger over dessert? Our waterfront restaurants are the perfect place to enjoy a long dinner that finishes with a light display. We recommend booking a table outside at either Nick’s Seafood, Adria Bar & Restaurant, I’m Angus Steakhouse, Baia The Italian, Cafe Del Mar or Hunter & Barrel.
If cocktails and casual bites are more your style, then we’ve got two fireworks watching venues for you. Grab a bunch of friends and book a table at Blackbird Café or Tokio Hotel. With relaxed vibes, great music and an iconic view, you won’t be disappointed.
Imagine this: you’re on the dance floor, listening to your favourite tracks with your closest friends as the sky erupts above you in a beautiful fireworks display. It doesn’t get much better than that. If you’re planning the perfect party night, head to Pontoon Bar, Home the Venue or the stylish Café Del Mar.
Want to make Saturday nights a family affair? Skip the queues and crowds, the Promenade at Cockle Bay Wharf has plenty of room for families who want to watch the fireworks together. Just make sure you stop by Lindt Café after the display for one of their famous desserts.
