Although Sydney doesn’t usually see ice and snow, 2020 has been far from normal! These school holidays, Darling Harbour is getting its very own skating rink, with the International Convention Centre forecourt transforming into a winter wonderland.   

We know it feels like the kids only just went back to school, but it’s already the end of Term 3! You can bring them down to Frozone for some family fun. Tickets for children under 15 are available for $18, and just $10 for those 4 or younger. A family pass will get 2 adults and 2 children (or 1 adult and 3 children if you’re feeling brave!) on the ice for $69. You can finish off the day at Blackbird Cafe, where kids under 12 eat free with any adult meal and Frozone ticket. 

Cockle Bay Wharf has always been a date night destination for Sydney’s lovebirds and Frozone adds another layer to that evening of romance. With Darling Harbour as the perfect backdrop for those quiet moments, cap off the evening with a drink at Pontoon Bar, 8:00pm happy hour means $10 cocktails. For an indulgent chocolate finish, try Lindt Cafe’s range of decadent desserts that have been perfected by over 100 years of Swiss craftsmanship. Plus the freezing ice is a great excuse to cuddle up for warmth!

Café Del Mar, Adria Bar Restaurant, I'm Angus Steakhouse and Nick's Seafood Restaurant are also open, serving up delicious waterfront dining options for Sydney's keen skaters!

Frozone will be open from 10:00am – 9:00pm every day until Sunday 11 October. Walk-ins are welcome, however, ticket holders will be given dedicated express entry. You can buy yours here to make sure you don’t miss out on the fun!
