Cockle Bay Wharf – COVID-19 update

Tuesday 24 March

Our priority is the health and wellbeing of our customers, colleagues and partners. In line with the latest Government guidance in relation to non-essential gathering restrictions, Cockle Bay Wharf is now closed for onsite dining and entertainment until further notice.

Lindt Chocolate Café remains open for takeaway coffee and sweet treats, please check here for changes to opening hours and further details.

This is a rapidly evolving situation and we will seek to keep this information up to date.

We thank you for your continued support during this difficult time and encourage you to support local restaurants and cafés where possible, with takeaway options. We hope to see you dining at one of our venues as soon as possible, once the current situation subsides.

Stay safe and hope to see you soon!

Friday 20 March

The team at Cockle Bay Wharf are proactively working towards measures to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all customers, retailers, staff and local community.

Individual trading hours may vary and are subject to change, so we encourage our customers to keep up-to-date via our website or contact us at

At Cockle Bay Wharf we continue to maintain a high standard of cleaning and hygiene throughout the precinct. We have increased the cleaning frequently of high touch points and will continue to work closely with our venues to ensure they follow the same levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

If you're planning to dine, drink or dance with us this weekend, we'll be asking you to take some extra precautions and follow the practical guidance of the Department of Health to help stop the spread of COVID-19:

  • Stay home if you are sick or are at higher risk.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, lathering the backs of your hands, between your fingers, fingertips and under your nails for at least 20 seconds. Use alcohol-based sanitizer if you can’t wash your hands.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your arm, when coughing or sneezing.
  • Follow the social distancing recommendations and remain seated when visiting our venues and keep 1.5m between yourself and other guests where possible.

We thank you for your continued support.

Stay safe,

Cockle Bay Wharf Management Team
