We would like to warmly welcome you to Baia - The Italian. 'Baia' has become synonymous with the Mediterranean-style delicacies found in the charming waterfront atmosphere of Darling Harbour.
Treat yourself to a savoury midday meal, bringing all the flavours of Southern European cuisine or let yourself be enveloped by the flair of a romantic dinner at sunset. Our menu has something to offer for everyone who wants to please their palate, at any time of the day. Furthermore, our food is complemented by a list of carefully selected imported and Australian wines.
Under the guidance of our overseas trained, three-hat chef and Italian management, our staff are well versed in all the finer points of their homeland’s culinary arts and are committed to bringing to you the very best hospitality.
Baia The Italian is open every day from 8am till late. Lunch starts at 11.30am and dinner is available from 6.00pm.
Join us for Happy Hour every day from 4pm to 6pm and on Saturday nights from 10pm enjoy live music courtesy of a DJ. If you’re hungry, a Late Night Dining menu is available.
Baia The Italian restaurant can cater up to 380 people sit down (up to 10 people for the VIP room, up to 60 people for the elevated fine dining area, and up to 60 sit down and approximately 100 stand up in the bar area). There are no additional charges for bookings. Groups are more than welcome and have 4 different Set Menus to choose from (15 people is the limit for ordering a la carte).
