Wallaby Bar
Rugby fanatic or no rugby fanatic, you'll love the Wallaby Bar at
Cockle Bay Wharf. A far cry from any traditional footy bar, it features
a contemporary design and d'cor, a large terrace-style balcony and
eight plasma screens with multi-media displays that give new meaning to
the term 'modern art'. Located at the balcony level of Cockle Bay
Wharf, you can enjoy great views across Darling Harbour and a relaxed
atmosphere just minutes away from the CBD. The Wallaby Bar has an
impressive wine, cocktail and bar food menu, making it ideal for a laid
back lunch, drinks after work or a night out on the town.
The
Wallaby Bar is also a great venue to go to before, during or after a
game. There's a feature wall embossed with every Wallaby player's name
and every match result since Australia's first test in 1899. On
occasion, you'll find some of the silverware the Wallabies have
recently accumulated including the Bledisloe Cup, the Tom Richards Cup,
the Mandela Plate and the Tri-Nations Trophy.
The Wallaby Bar is
endorsed and licensed by the ARU and is home to rugby events, launches,
media conferences and player appearances. It's also available to the
public for functions, providing a unique backdrop for business or for
pleasure.
Functions
The Wallaby Bar is a great venue for
a corporate or social function, with a variety of food and beverage
packages available to choose from.
Whether you have 40 or 400
people on your guest list, the space is never too big or too small;
with a series of revolving walls, the size of the room can be tailored
to your particular needs.

technology including plasma screens, the Wallaby Bar lets you show
